When George McKerrow Jr. opened the first LongHorn Steakhouse in Atlanta more than 30 years ago, he had one goal: to serve the perfect steak. LongHorn Steakhouse has since expanded to more than 500 locations, but remains true to its founder’s noble goal with a dedicated menu of expertly grilled Ribeyes, Sirloins, T-Bones and Porterhouses. Every LongHorn Steakhouse is staffed by at least two “Grill Masters” who have been extensively trained and certified to season and grill up fresh, never-frozen steaks. Every year, these Grill Masters go head-to-head in the Steakmaster Series Championship. Thousands of Grill Masters compete in four rounds until seven finalists are chosen and one reigning champ is named Steakmaster Champion.
